Triple LLL Farm,
We are promoting all of our packages. Like to add that all of our meats are pastured raised on rational grazing and fed ON-GMO feed.
I would like to say Thank You to everyone fo helping support our farm this year. We have put togther several Holiday packages we think you might enjoy.
Breakfast Sample Package:
1 pack Hickory Smoked/Maple Brown Sugar Bacon (approx 1 lb)
Sow’s Ear Piggery: We just picked up a new pork order from the butcher. This pork was finished on acorns, and the samples we’ve tried have a rich flavor and light marbling in the cuts. Restocking this week: ground pork, breakfast sausage, and chops. More to come soon, including pork roasts for Christmas and New Years.
Oakview Farm: We have a variety of fresh, tasty food this week: Chess pie, peppermint patties, radishes, and scallions! We also have our sourdough bread, focaccia, and new sourdough garlic bites! And, our high tunnel is busting out with greens, so we are bringing the greens to you in our Salad Greens Mix! It has a beautiful lettuce blend as well as mustard, turnips, arugula, collards, and kale!
Yentz Family Farm:
Love our jarred items and snacks? Share them with your loved ones for the holidays. Our goodies make great Christmas gifts and can be ordered alone or in a gift basket. Check out our new listings including our holiday candy options!
Did you know that our pies and baked goods can be frozen until Christmas or New Years? Our Apple and Mixed Berry Crumb Pies Freeze great, as do our rolls and breads. I do not recommend freezing the pumpkin pie though.
Simple plastic wrap or ziplock bag and place in the freezer for up to 3 months. When you are ready to use them simply defrost in the fridge the day prior.
Carol’s Herbs (CS3 Farms):
We are back on the market from a wonderful anniversary break. 32 years and the good Lord keeps our marriage strong.
This week we have a few elderberry cream cheese pies ready. They are a great addition to holiday parties. They come to you frozen and you can take it out of the freezer an hour before serving.
We also have a few elderberry syrups left and lots of all in one honeys to help prevent or limit cold and flu. Stock up. They last the whole season.
Calico Farms: New this week for all of our friends with food allergies/dietary restrictions: Gluten-free Organic Vegan Peppermint Bark. This one ticks all the boxes and, yes, is still delicious. Even the candy canes are dye-free so you truly can’t find a healthier treat.
Don ‘t forget about our nut varieties – they are perfect for gifting being 10 oz & in resealable bags. Be sure to grab them for all your holiday events to fill those snack bowls, charcuterie/grazing boards or even road trips. Our sweet & spicy pecans and herbed & spicy mixed nuts are unlike anything you’ve ever had and our cinnamon sugared pecans are WAY better than Buc-ees!
For all your holiday baking, or for the baker/foodie in your life, be sure to check out our homemade vanilla extract & organic vanilla sugar. Together they make magic and a truly unique gift, we’ll call it a baker’s bundle.
Also new this week is our organic chocolate dipped Norwegian krumkaker cookies. These are an old-world Nordic tradition and are as beautiful as they are delicious. Available plain as well, both can be enjoyed as is, filled with whipped cream & chocolate chips or berries…your choice!
Finally, check out our espresso & regular peppermint barks, organic chocolate syrup (I promise you this is our new favorite product!!!), house blended teas, shower steamers & bath sachets (listed in wellness section). I think we can all agree that we can use some of these treats in our lives this time of year.
Quarter Spring Farm: Not sure what to get for everyone on your list this year? Everybody uses soap. Or at least they ought to. And Quarter Spring Farm has a wide selection of superb skin-softening soaps available on the Stones River market. All of them are made with our fresh goat milk, which is great for your skin. And the scents are unique and delightful. We also have a full selection of pastured poultry, grown and processed on the farm. It tastes better than conventional chicken, and is better for you too. In addition, we just received 2 lambs back from our USDA inspected processor. We are fully stocked with all of your favorite cuts, roasts, and ground lamb. Order some today and find out why home grown is so much better.
