Lathemtown Farm Fresh Market:  This Week at the Market

The Holidays are underway, the houses are lit, the weather is cool, and Christmas carols are in the air! What a wonderful time of year!

We finally have our salad bags back! Just a few to start, but they’re coming in nicely now. Also added are a few turnips. We will be starting more microgreens this week so those will be a while.

Back are the soups! I know a few of you have been missing these – sorry! I am going to be adding a shelf stable section of soups and have them pressure canned so we always have backup!

Have a great week!
Farmher Chef Amy

Frontier Farms:  Cold and frosty morning this morning

GOOD FROSTY MONDAY MORNING!! Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving.

Shop local since gas prices are up, it keeps money in the community and helps out the small businesses that are there for you when you need them the most.

Champaign, OH:  Cyber Monday Mania!

Good morning, on this chilly, windy Monday morning!! I hope you are waking up with warm coffee or tea, or whatever you enjoy…

And, while you are waking up, I’m here to remind you that on Saturday, you all ordered from the market for Small Business Saturday, and now you can also participate in Cyber Monday, but also shopping from this little local market of loveliness!

And, while we should participate in shopping small, all the time, I realize that it’s not always completely possible. But, when you do shop from this little, long running market, you make the vendors, so very, very happy!!

So, with that…have you started thinking about Christmas gifts, and giving the gift of something locally grown or made? We’ve got so much to offer!!

And…S&S Naturals is back with us, and Sarah has also added lots of things for the holidays, along with her dried mixes!!

Champaign Berry has added two different sizes of their frozen raspberries!! These are PERFECT to keep in the freezer, all winter long, and scoop out whenever you need that lovely local berry goodness in your life. Are you entertaining for the holidays? One thing that I love doing is putting a bit of their frozen berries scoop into a champagne flute, and then pouring the bubbly over! So festive!

Ok…I’m with you, and have my coffee in hand, ready to order from the market!

Have the best start to the week!

XOXO,
Cosmic Pam

Yentz family Farm: Hope you had an awesome Thanksgiving. I’d like to highlight the following items:

Organic Raw Vanilla Sugar
Our Organic Raw Vanilla Sugar is the perfect way to infuse scrumptious vanilla flavor into all of your baking or beverages – coffee, tea etc.

We take organic raw cane sugar, scrape out the vanilla bean paste, blend it into the sugar then add the emptied pods to infuse the sugar for a minimum of 2 weeks. Once ready, we remove the pods & jar for you.

We use organic Madagascar vanilla beans & it’s available in 8 oz or 16 oz jars. Anything you bake will be better with this sugar. Pair with our homemade vanilla extract (sold separately) for the ultimate dynamic duo!

Organic Norwegian Krumkake
Traditional Norwegian krumkake waffle-style cookies made with our grandma’s recipe. She was born in Norway & these were always in her cookie jars, just like it should be at grandma’s house. Ours are all organic (because that’s how we roll), sold in a 6-pack where you can enjoy them plain, fill with whipped cream or dip the open end in chocolate…or both! Ingredients: farm-fresh eggs, heritage white flour, vanilla raw cane sugar, grass-fed butter, our homemade vanilla extract. You can find our homemade vanilla extract here under baking supplies!
