Fayetteville Farmers' Market:  Chard, pickled items and lamb added!

If you have ordered, thank you! Note you can add new items to your order anytime. We collect them all together and only charge your card once.

Charlie’s Vegetables has added new pickled items! Small batches made from her locally grown vegies: dill pickles, chow chow, bread and butter pickles, green tomato pickles and more.

Sunrise chard has been added—beautiful and tasty too! There are still purple hull peas available as well as tomatoes and cukes, herbs and other vegies.

Lamb is a great fall meal choice—new items added include rack of lamb, half leg, shanks, boneless leg, loin chops and more. Grilling season goes far into the fall so consider lamb, beef, pork, chicken or other local meats for your grill.

And don’t forget fall apples and pears, and check out the other produce available.

Champaign, OH:  Spooky

In the cool of the evenin’ when everything is gettin’ kind of groovy…
(Classics IV)

Another song for the season, and a reminder that the market will be closing, for the week, at 8am, this morning…

Don’t forget to get those orders in for another delightful, seasonal love fest with all of this local loveliness that we have to offer…

XOXO,
Cosmic Pam

Lathemtown Farm Fresh Market:  This Week at the Market

Good morning! It’s a chilly one! We had a great time stoking up a bonfire this weekend and had our first farmhouse fire in the living room. So toasty with a mug of warm spiced cider :)
I will be headed to the apple farm today to get a fresh load of apples and jars of cider so look for those in the stand tomorrow and as long as they last.
You’ll notice some new products this week! Joyful Noise Acres joins us with their sourdough starter – fresh or dried. Also, to add to our allergy fighting arsenal is her herbal tea.
Also, joining us is Gabi Brown with Brown Bakehouse. She uses the newly added starter to make a sourdough boule. Try one for your soups!
This week I got all the lettuces iin the ground and they are doing well despite the frigid temps! It will take a few more weeks before harvesting these, but we should be stocked through the fall and early winter for greens (provided the bunnies and deer stay out!).
Enjoy these wonderful fall days!
